    I'm confused about whether it's advisable to utilize PowerPoint presentations during business panel discussions. I am going to be the moderator for the first time pls help me out with this.

    • @KristinArnold
      @KristinArnold 22 дні тому

      I would use ONE ppt slide that has the photos, names, titles of the moderator and panelists in the order that they are seated. If a panelist NEEDS to show a slide to explain a concept or idea. But for a "presentation"? No. It's called a panel discussion.

    I had an experience 😢where one of th panelists asked me to cut short the question as she got some emergency, right on the stage. So i have to cut down my Q&A session which i planned at the end of the panel. Well, i dont want to walk her out when all the other three are sitting to discuss the Q&A. We are never going to call her again.

    • @KristinArnold
      @KristinArnold 7 місяців тому

      Wow....that is really interesting. I had that happen to me as well. However, my panelist was so apologetic that he had to leave mid-Q&A to catch a flight that he apologized to the audience and excused himself. The program went on as planned.

    • @gokuljayakumar619
      @gokuljayakumar619 8 днів тому

      Happened once to me, but from my understanding, panelists are often busy people who have multiple commitments daily. Life doesn't run on time always, and they may have to change plans if someone higher up in their hierarchy calls or there is an emergency situation like you have mentioned. I think if the excuse is genuine and that panelist doesn't have a habit of leaving panels mid-way, then it's a fair call by that person.
